Yes, Mick's tip holds true in general: once you download a clip from here you can almost always correct the a/r when watching it thru your own player. (And the VLC player lets you make the change permanently: >tools>preferences>video, and on that page you can select & hold onto whichever one you want.)
Not surprisingly, this Jean-Noel Rene Clair clip (from one of his bareback DVDs) has been posted here several times before. Search 'JNRC' & you'll find it easily. The post from 2010 is in two parts, but at least it's in the correct aspect/ratio--which this isn't.

After downloading to my recorder, it plays in the correct aspect ratio!
