There are 100s of pix of John Manning swirling around the Internet, but I've never seen this one before today. One of the skinbook favorites of the 50s & 60s, he was, despite that wildly voluptuous face, a ruff-tuff Blackfoot Indian, an ex-paratrooper & strong as an ox. Once, when he bought a cement truck, AMG's Bob Mizer advised Physique Pictorial readers that "John can bring you a big load anytime you want--if you live in the LA area."
