But looking just now through a skinbook from ten years ago ("Inches"/ January 2004), I found four of the nicest photos I've ever seen of him
(taken, it seems, by Alexander Pictures) where he's rather grandly identified as MANUEL DE LACERDO--that being a slight distortion of a well-established Portuguese name, 'de Lacerda.'
