Like all great cinema, this clip doesn't really depend on the verbal, but for the curious, the dialogue (which runs way ahead of the image here) starts with the client saying "Remember me? I didn't know you worked here. Are you free to cut my hair now?" At the end, when A hands him his phone #, he says "Give me a call. I'd love you to finish what you started."
One of a handful of fantastic scenes Antoine Mallet did for the late Jean-Daniel Cadinot, and one of the best (seen here in fine, clear color, though with the sound track out of synch.) For perfect casting, originality of plot & the truly exciting way in which it all unfolds, this is a little masterpiece. There's more of the beautiful & horsehung Mallet in the archive!
