Hey guys. You adjust the vac pressure on an electric pump using a 'bleeder valve' which is basically an adjustable leak.. the further open the valve is the less vacuum pressure the pump can pull on the tube. You can also get a 'pulsator' like the Surger they sell on bb5t.com which will raise and lower the vacuum pressure automatically.. that feels pretty damn good I'll tell you.

Never had an electric pump and I am not sure if you can adjust the pressure like with the manual pumps I have but it looks like you are bordering on bruising the skin which I am sure you know can be quite dangerous and VERY painful.
Looks ok but I just think you are using too much pressure .

I does not hurt and can be quite pleasant.
