Oh, what a crush I had on Steve Boyd back in the day! A native American stud who found his way from the Midwest to San Francisco just in time for the summer of love, he did most of his early work for J.Brian & left a trail of broken hearts in his wake. Probably best remembered today as Joe, the str8 trucker in "Kansas City Trucking Co." (1976), he literally ran away with the circus toward the end of the decade, got married & became a father. A disabled veteran and later a peace activist, he died of AIDS complications in 2004 at the age of 53.
One of the reasons Steve Boyd is such a turn on for me is I had a buddy in the army ('67) that looked like him. He was Cherokee and, other than some groping, we never got together. Ever since Steve came along, I've been hooked.
