When the Latino Fan Club began tacking "the original one-and-only" to its name, it wasn't just an empty boast. Latinocentric video companies & websites come and go, but LTC, after more than a quarter-century, has more than mere staying power--it has a history studded (so to speak) with some of the hottest guys who ever heated up the streets and sheets of Manhattan & the surrounding boroughs. Here's a clip from a few years back recalling jut a few of them--hooded horsehung heroes to a whole generation--or should I say reign?--of discerning sizequeens. (I'm glad this first installment includes my #1 personal fave, Joey Albano, some of whose best flix--Doing Hard Time, Latin Sex Quarters, and Cuckoo for Cocoa Cocks--are long overdue for remastering & reissue.)

Seems to me the last great headliner LFC produced (one who'll go into the Hall of Fame with those guys from the Golden Age) is Viper. He's the only one of the relatively recent roster who has the kind of charisma & personal charm of
those guys--quite apart from the requisite meat, of course!
Great line-up of guys! Another sorely neglected LFC star--one of their biggest & best, in fact--is the incomparable Freddy Mac. How come so little of his stuff is available in any form? (Most of it never even got transferred to DVD for some reason.)
