And, I getcha on the whole "putting the pressure up full from the start" When you've been doing stuff like ths its really the only way to get the feeling of being stretched again.
Hey guys. You adjust the vac pressure on an electric pump using a 'bleeder valve' which is basically an adjustable leak.. the further open the valve is the less vacuum pressure the pump can pull on the tube. You can also get a 'pulsator' like the Surger they sell on bb5t.com which will raise and lower the vacuum pressure automatically.. that feels pretty damn good I'll tell you.
Never had an electric pump and I am not sure if you can adjust the pressure like with the manual pumps I have but it looks like you are bordering on bruising the skin which I am sure you know can be quite dangerous and VERY painful.
